JONATHAN BAKER TO DIRECT ACADEMY AWARD WINNERS NICHOLAS CAGE, FAYE DUNAWAY, IN INCONCEIVABLE.
Nothing will be what it seems for Nicolas Cage and Faye Dunaway in Jonathan Baker's Inconceivable.
The pair of Oscar winners are joining the thriller Inconceivable, PEOPLE has confirmed. Nicky Whelan (Hall Pass) will also star in Jonathan Baker’s film set from Chloe King’s screenplay.
When Katie (Whelan) moves to town with her young daughter — starting a new life after enduring abuse in her past — she quickly befriends another mother, Angela, and her husband Brian (Cage) who are Newley parents, soon they hire a nannie and their lives are never the same again.
“This film will change the way all mothers look at their nannies,” Baker said in a statement to PEOPLE.
Cage will appear in Oliver Stone’s upcoming thriller/biopic, Snowden, as a former U.S. intelligence officer Hank Forrester. Dunaway has worked less frequently, but will appear in the December horror pic Bye Bye Man from STX Entertainment.
Jonathan Baker-directed thriller. Chloe King wrote the script, and Randall Emmett and George Furla of Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films are producing with Jonathan Baker and Daniel Herther of Baker Entertainment. Baker will co star as well.
Emmett/Furla is in postproduction on Martin Scorsese’s Silence, and production just wrapped on the Kevin Connolly-directed Gotti, with John Travolta playing the Teflon Don John Gotti.
" We are honored to have such a creative genius working with us" said Emmett/Furla
Jonathan Baker and his Baker Entertainment Group has offices on the Paramount lot. Baker has an eye on doing all post on his lot.
Filming begins in October. Set for release in theaters world wide by LionsGate in 2017
